1.The Squad, consisting of Robbie Williams and Russell Brand, teamed up to record a new version of Three Lions for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The song features added vocals from the ACM Gospel Choir, a soprano (Olivia Safe) and commentator John Motson.

2.The Squad was a punk band from Coventry, UK who formed in December 1977. Terry Hall (later of The Specials was one of the original members. They released 2 singles in 1978, and packed up some time later.
